The literature review shows my interest in the research field. This was my first step into the research field which was encouraged by the INTO Mason. One of the course EAP 508 required all the students in the class to conduct a review on the topic of their interest in which they can carry out their future research. This review taught us how to narrow down the question and to find the resources required for the research. For the research we collected around 10 articles related to the research and filled a questionnaire for every article collected. This gave us the main purpose of the research and the common procedures carried out by every other scholar in the field and also the new techniques as how to write a research paper. After conducting the research and refining my research question so many times I arrived at a final research topic “Insilico approach to determine the Structure and functional relation of mutated p16 INK4A inhibitor with its partners CDK4 /6”. IT took me a lot of time to understand the way of research being conducted in my field of study. But eventually I started to gain more knowledge about the field of my study which is very helpful in the Master’s program.
The writing sample below would be one of the part which can demonstrate my readiness to transit from INTO Mason to the actual Master’s degree.
Plagiarism research paper introduces us to the concept and helps us understand the rules to be followed while writing a paper. This is a research paper for the course PROV 504. This research introduced me to the IEEE style of citation and in text citation. This is a concept which is not widely used in my native country. This research provided me with the knowledge of types of plagiarism and also self-plagiarism. For writing this paper we were provided with workshop which gave us the maximum possible knowledge of utilizing the library resources which would be helpful for my future research work in my course. This is very important for my course as most of my course work requires us to do research on a topic which would require the utmost knowledge of library resources.
